HOW TO PAY FOR SCHOOL

Going to college is never inexpensive.  If you are on our pages, we assume that you are using VA benefits to help pay for your schooling.  These benefits are a tremendous help in covering the cost of your education regardless of the type of benefit you are using.

Just because you are using VA benefits, that does not mean that there are not additional resources available to you!  All students should take the time to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) as this will not only give you access to student loans (if needed), but will make you eligible for numerous grants and scholarships.  Additionally, we encourage our students to explore additional independent scholarship opportunities.  All of these monies can generally be stacked with your VA benefits.

TYPES OF FINANCIAL AID AVAILABLE

  • Federal grants
  • State grants
  • Student and parent loans
  • Work-study employment
