Niner Central

Although the Veteran Services Office works hard to assist military affiliated students with their academic, financial and benefit needs, some areas of college life are handled by other departments on campus.

Niner Central is a one stop shop for the financial and administrative departments of Niner Nation. This office handles:

• Financial aid, loans, scholarships and state level tuition assistance 
  • Including Military Tuition Assistance
• Billing, payments and refunds
• Transcript requests and enrollment verification
• Student Blue health insurance

Note: Enrollment verification for CHAMPVA benefits or health insurance, can be accessed through your My Charlotte portal. This is considered an official document coming directly from the National Student Clearinghouse, our official Verifying Agency. Each semester updates to student status on the National Student Clearinghouse are posted approximately one week after the first day of class.

• Log into your my.uncc.edu Account
• Click 'Banner Self-Service'
• Click 'Student Services'
• Click 'Student Records'
• Select Enrollment Verification (you must have pop-ups enabled, as this is a secure website) 
• Choose 'Current Enrollment' or 'All Enrollment'
• Click 'Obtain an enrollment certificate'
• View and print the Enrollment Certificate
• Fax, mail, or scan the printed Enrollment Certificate to person(s) or agency requesting verification

The Office of the Bursar prepares and sends invoices for tuition and other costs as specified by the third party.

• Students eligible for Military Tuition Assistance must provide a Tuition Assistance (TA) form. The TA form must include a specific description of charges that will be paid by the military.  It must also include:
  • Your name and UNC Charlotte identification number
  • The semester(s) covered by the document
  • The billing address
  • The signature and telephone number of the authorizing official

• Your tuition assistance payment will be applied after it is received by Third Party Billing staff
